# AstraZ AI QA OPS — Terms of Service & Acceptable Use Policy **Effective Date:** May 5, 2026 **Product:** AstraZ AI QA OPS (`astraz-qa`) **Publisher:** Vamshi, Sole Proprietor trading as AstraZ AI, India --- ## 1. Acceptance By installing, accessing, or using AstraZ AI QA OPS ("the Software"), you ("Customer") agree to these Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Software. --- ## 2. License Grant Subject to these Terms, AstraZ AI grants Customer a **limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license** to use the Software for Customer's internal business operations. ### 2.1 Scope Restrictions - Each license is valid for **one (1) agency workspace** only. - Licenses may **not** be shared, resold, sublicensed, or transferred between legal entities. - The Software may be used by Customer's employees and contractors working directly on Customer's projects within the licensed workspace. - Multi-workspace usage requires separate licenses per workspace. ### 2.2 Prohibited Uses Customer shall NOT: - Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software - Remove or alter any proprietary notices, labels, or marks - Use the Software for competitive analysis or to develop a competing product - Share CI tokens, credentials, or license keys with unauthorized third parties - Use the Software to perform security testing, penetration testing, or vulnerability scanning of systems Customer does not own or have explicit authorization to test - Use the Software to violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights - Attempt to circumvent license validation, token verification, or any access controls - Publish benchmark results without prior written consent from AstraZ AI --- ## 3. Disclaimer of Warranties > **THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED STRICTLY "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.** AstraZ AI does NOT warrant or represent that: - The Software will detect all bugs, defects, or issues in Customer's application - Generated Playwright tests are complete, accurate, or comprehensive - QA reports constitute any form of legal, compliance, security, or performance certification - CI pipeline execution will be uninterrupted, error-free, or timely - The Software is suitable for any specific regulatory or compliance requirement **Customer acknowledges that automated testing is inherently limited and must be supplemented with manual QA, code review, and independent verification for production-critical systems. AstraZ AI accepts zero liability for production outcomes.** --- ## 4. Limitation of Liability > **TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ASTRAZ AI, ITS OWNER, CONTRIBUTORS, AFFILIATES, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:** > > - **Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities** > - **Cost of procurement of substitute goods or services** > - **Business interruption or downtime** > - **Production bugs that pass through automated testing** > - **Security vulnerabilities not detected by generated tests** > - **Regulatory fines, penalties, or compliance failures** > - **Third-party claims arising from Customer's use of the Software** > > **WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF ASTRAZ AI HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.** ### 4.1 Aggregate Liability Cap AstraZ AI's total aggregate liability for all claims arising from or relating to the Software shall not exceed the **lesser of (a) the amount Customer paid AstraZ AI in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) fifty United States dollars (USD $50.00).** ### 4.2 Essential Basis of the Bargain Customer acknowledges that the limitations of liability in this Section are an essential element of the agreement and that the pricing of the Software reflects this allocation of risk. The Software would not be provided at its current price without these limitations. --- ## 5. Indemnification Customer shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AstraZ AI, its owner, contributors, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from: - Customer's use of the Software - Customer's violation of these Terms - Customer's violation of any applicable law or third-party rights - Any third-party claims related to Customer's applications tested using the Software - Customer's failure to perform independent manual verification of critical user flows --- ## 6. Data & Privacy AstraZ AI QA OPS is a **local-first** tool. See [PRIVACY.md](PRIVACY.md) for complete details. **Key points:** - Zero PII collection - All recordings, tests, and reports stay on Customer's local machine - Optional cloud sync transmits only anonymized CI summary metadata (≤ 32 KB) - Sensitive data is automatically masked before disk write - AstraZ AI complies with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA) --- ## 7. Intellectual Property - The Software (source code, documentation, branding) is the proprietary property of AstraZ AI - Generated test files (`.spec.ts`) are owned by Customer and may be freely modified - Generated QA reports may be shared internally but must retain the AstraZ AI attribution and disclaimer - Customer may not claim or represent that AstraZ AI endorses, certifies, or guarantees Customer's application quality --- ## 8. CI Token & Credential Security - CI tokens are issued per-project with configurable scope, permission level, and CIDR allowlist - Tokens can be revoked instantly; all Edge Functions check `revoked_at` status in real-time - Customer is solely responsible for securing tokens stored in CI secrets - AstraZ AI is not liable for unauthorized access resulting from Customer's credential mismanagement --- ## 9. Service Level AstraZ AI QA OPS is a CLI tool with **no uptime SLA**. Cloud features (auth, licensing, CI sync) are provided on a **best-effort basis**. AstraZ AI reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue cloud services at any time. --- ## 10. Termination - AstraZ AI may terminate Customer's license for violation of these Terms - Customer may terminate by uninstalling the Software and deleting local data - Upon termination, all license grants cease immediately - Sections 3, 4, 5, 7, and 11 survive termination --- ## 11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution These Terms are governed by the laws of **India**. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be resolved through **binding arbitration seated in India**, conducted under the **Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996** (as amended). The arbitration shall be conducted in English by a sole arbitrator mutually agreed upon by the parties. **Customer waives any right to a class action.** Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking interim relief from a court of competent jurisdiction. --- ## 12. Miscellaneous - **Severability:** If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect - **Entire Agreement:** These Terms constitute the entire agreement regarding the Software - **Amendments:** AstraZ AI may update these Terms; continued use constitutes acceptance - **No Waiver:** Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver - **Assignment:** Customer may not assign these Terms; AstraZ AI may assign upon notice --- ## 13.
